Rip (v.) to tease or make fun of. Used by younger population.
Example: Dude, he was messing with me so I totally ripped on him in front of his friends, and now he’s not talking anymore!
Toot (n.) a drag or hit off of a pipe, hookah, or cigarette. Used primarily by smokers, but also seen in social settings.
Example: Pass that hose over here and let me have a toot.
Primo (adj.) extremely high quality. Used the same as premium.
Example: I picked up some primo steak from the grocery store.
Deuce (n.) used in replacement of the number two. Can be used as a goodbye.
Example: Hey, I’ve got to get going. Deuces!
Schwagg (adj.) poor quality. Mainly used by smokers in reference to poor quality marijuana, but also used in reference to anything that is of lesser quality.
Example: This sandwich tastes terrible. This meat is totally schwagg.
Bounce (v.) to leave or to go somewhere else. Mainly seen in a more urban scene, but can be used by anyone.
Example: I’ve got work in the morning, so I’ve gotta bounce.
Snarky (adj.) grumpy or unusually testy. Usually used in reference to a person in a bad mood.
Example: Did you get up on the wrong side of the bed this morning? You’re acting extra snarky today.
Beast (v.) to completely exceed expectations or complete extremely effectively. Usually used in sport settings.
Example: He was about to catch the Frisbee when I jumped up and totally smacked it away. I beasted that sucker!
Pwn[ed] (v.) to completely and utterly beat. Usually used by gamers. Pronounced Poh-ned.
Example: My gear was too strong, so when he tried to fight me I pwned him.
Stank (adj.) description that of something that is unappealing. Usually used in reference to smell, but also can be used in reference to a situation.
Example: I was thinking about going over to my friend’s house, but something about it was stanky.
Sticky (n.) slang word for marijuana of a particularly sticky texture.
Example: I was over at Dante’s and he had some brand new sticky.
Wicked (adj.) describing something as better than awesome.
Example: I saw a wicked awesome movie this weekend.
Brained (v.) to get smacked or hit very hard on the head. Particularly when the person in question is not expecting it.
Example: I stood up when the trunk hatch was still open and totally brained myself.
Got (v.) to be killed. Usually used in a heavy slang setting.
Example: That idiot just got got!
Pr0n (n.) an internet word for pornography. Usually seen in blogs or postings on websites.
Example: Jimmy008: I saw the funniest thing in some weird pr0n today.
derp derp (onomatopoeia) a sound that is used when someone mimics a stupid or foolish person.
Example: Oh really? You think climbing that tower during a thunder storm is a good idea? I can see it now, “I’m climbing a ladder derp derp.”
Yo No se (phrase) Spanish for “I don’t know.” Used more often by Caucasian students when they’re interacting with each other rather than by people of Hispanic or Spanish descent.
Example: Julia: When does the movie start? Derek: Yo no se mamacita.
Balled (v.) to be shot by a paintball marker. Usually matched with over-balled when someone shoots a paintballer after the player is out.
Example: I came around the corner and that guy totally overballed me for no reason!
Example: This guy at the club was a total doucher.
Breezy (n.) a woman, usually an attractive woman. Used by men who are looking to hook-up with said woman.
Example: Homey I was at the bar and I saw this fine little breezy giving me the eye all night!
